Trevor is a founder of Lakeside. He has an MSc in Geology from the University of Otago, New Zealand and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Geoscientists. Trevor has spent 25 years as an exploration geologist focused on copper and gold systems for both listed and private explorers alike.
Trevor's experience spans Australia, Pacific Islands, North America, Central Asia and the Middle East where he has been instrumental in identifying overlooked opportunities, business development and executing exploration strategies.
Dias holds a BSc in Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits from the Kazakh-British Technical University and has experience exploring porphyry Cu-Au systems across Kazakhstan. Mentored by internationally recognised consultants, he combines knowledge of Kazakhstan’s geology with modern exploration methods.
Over the past three years, Dias has advanced the Lakeside Project, leading target generation, planning, and field programs. He oversees workflows to ensure exploration is delivered safely and efficiently. He is a member of SEG, AIG, AusIMM, and the Geological Society of London.
With more than 20 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management, Zhibek oversees Lakeside’s financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and accounting operations. Her expertise spans IFRS reporting, AIFC compliance, taxation, budgeting, and audit management across the mining, exploration, construction, manufacturing, and investment sectors.
A Certified Professional Accountant and Tax Consultant, Zhibek holds the ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR). Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English, she works closely with management, auditors, regulators, and investors to uphold the highest standards of financial governance and corporate compliance.
With more than 10 years of experience in exploration logistics and field operations, Chingis oversees the safe and efficient delivery of Lakeside’s exploration programs across Kazakhstan. His expertise includes field logistics, camp establishment, core shed management, heavy equipment operations, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
Drawing on his military background and training in internationally recognised safety systems through a major Australian mining company, he is committed to delivering exploration programs safely, efficiently, and within budget. Fluent in English, Russian, and Kazakh.
